Pan-flute and ukrainian traditional wood wind instruments





   Maksym Popichuk is a gifted musician who made it his destiny since his early childhood. Born Jan.25,1971 to a musician`s family in Kyiv,since the age of six he began mastering dulcimer,this rich in timbre and technique, and colourful,though extremely complicated instrument.  





  While studying at the Kyiv State musical college named
after R. M. Glier, he also began playing traditional wood 

wind instruments (pan-flute, sopilka, ocarina, kaval, telynka, dvodentsivka, rizhok).





  Being already a Kyiv National Music Academy named after P. I. Tchaikovsky second year student, he took the first prize at the All-Ukrainian competition of performers of classical and traditional music on traditional instruments. 




  



  Now he plays a wide variety of traditional ukrainian music styles, and also many different styles, among them jazz, rock, pop, new age, and the list goes on, and on. 





  
   Maksym has cooperated as a soloist with top stage companies of Ukraine, and had with them a number of tours throughout EU, USA, Canada and Asia. His repertoire is extraordinary colourful, rich in technique and brilliant
performance. He has a great experience of concert activities in Ukraine and around the world, and his performances has always been a great success.
